Darcy has over 30 years of law enforcement and private security expertise.
He served in various positions including Field Training Officer, Undercover Narcotics Officer, Detective, and Patrol Executive Lieutenant before retiring from the position of Executive Lieutenant of the Special Investigations/Narcotics Enforcement for the Warren, Michigan police department, a municipality that borders Detroit.
During his tenure with the Warren PD, Darcy served as Commander of the SWAT team for 23 years.
Darcy was responsible for developing an executive protection team, investigation team, and training program for a Fortune 500 conglomerate. He is also a former Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT/Paramedic) and qualified as Fire Fighter 1 with the State of Michigan. He also previously served as Senior Instructor/Coordinator for the Macomb Emergency Services Training Center and SWAT Basic/Advanced School.
As a physician’s assistant, she practiced in emergency/trauma medicine in Detroit, Michigan and then specialized in neurological surgery, leading a team that developed and performed many procedures for the first time in the United States.
She is a Member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistant Education Association, and Director at Large of the Association of Neurosurgical Physician Assistants.
Lindsay is currently serving an appointment to the American Council on Education, where she is an expert faculty evaluator for military medical programs on behalf of the Department of Defense.
